Jana Moser
Jana M. Moser graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law ("Berkeley Law" or "Boalt Hall") in 2011 and obtained her bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Irvine in 2007. Ms. Moser graduated from Berkeley Law with a Law and Technology Certificate issued by Berkeley Law's Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, the nation's leading program in law and technology designed for attorneys pursuing a career in intellectual property law and entertainment law.
While in law school, Ms. Moser worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Frank C. Damrell Jr., a United States federal judge in the Eastern District of California, as well as for a premier entertainment law firm in Los Angeles, California. In terms of her academic extracurricular activities, Ms. Moser was a member and editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal for each of her three years in law school, and was also a member of Berkeley Law's flagship legal journal, the California Law Review. Additionally, Ms. Moser was a member of Berkeley Law's competitive moot court team and acted as a research assistant for Professor Eleanor Swift. With respect to community service, Ms. Moser served as a coordinator and advocacy instructor for the Berkeley High Student Court, a Berkeley Law alternative dispute resolution program designed to teach youth about principles of restorative justice and advocacy.
Ms. Moser has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of legal forums, including state and federal court and private arbitration tribunals such as the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Service ("JAMS") and American Arbitration Association ("AAA"). In addition to her academic emphasis on intellectual property law and entertainment law, Ms. Moser has experience representing clients in entertainment and media cases, securities litigation and corporate disputes.
